More paper dolls! Put together by a 4-year-old!

No wonder the author didn’t put their name on it.

If they’d just stuck to the background image and the text, it would have been a much better cover. Still really bad, but much better.

First I feel bad about snarking at a girl with her arm in a sling. But she is running with a revolver. Her arm is probably in a sling because she previous ran with scissors.

The cat is superimposed over a gate; by my sense of perspective the cat should be behind the gate. (click on the image to goto the jpg, ctrl + to zoom in)

I wish I hadn’t done that.

Are those supposed to be teeth coming out of the cat’s mouth? Is it a saber tooth?

Where’s the woman’s right leg? What’s up with the cat’s right hind leg?

Ugh.

The thing coming out of the cat’s mouth is the handle of a small bag. The woman’s right leg is bent behind her left, you can see the tip of her right boot peeking out near the top of her left boot. I think she’s supposed to be running, but it looks really awkward, like she’s about to trip and fall onto her already injured left arm. The Tyrolean hat partially obscuring her vision is probably making it even harder to keep her footing. She’d probably accidentally fire her gun when she fell too, since her finger is on the trigger.

Looking more closely, her shirt isn’t just tight, it fits perfectly around and under each breast. Is that supposed to be body paint or something?

Her boot is perfectly aligned with the cat’s hind leg that it looks like the woman has a cat’s leg. A tip for the artist: goggle “tangents in drawing”.

Ok, I can see the right boot now, but that really is an awkward pose. I think if I tried that I’d trip myself up.

What you’re calling the handle of the bag doesn’t line up with the edge of bag, which I think is a purse. It’s off by 20 degrees or so and overlaps the front of the bag/purse. However, I do see what could be the purse’s handle behind the teeth. It’s the same color as the purse.

Looking at the shirt, it looks like one breast is normal while the other one has been inverted so that it extends into her chest. I think the author has created non-Euclidean anatomy.

Click on the cover, go to the jpg image, crtl + zoom. Yes, the fierce alley cat is carrying a purse. How pulp noire is that?
