You might ask why the type all looks like it’s scooting to the right, but then you might ask why some of the text is invisible against the background, and then why the image is so unbelievably pixelated, and then when will it end?

Looks like some space fighter forgot to put his contacts on before launching.
I really enjoyed Boot One, so I also expect to like Boot Two.
This cover says it best.
BOO!
Methinks the blurry cover is meant to hide the fact that he stole the artwork.
Yes. Here is where it was stolen from:

Your pixellation scheme as it turns out, was not so cunning, Mr Buckman.
… although from the description of what I’m assuming is the original product it was plagiarised from, it looks like the blind leading the blind, and the Braille signs are in Engrish.
“Spatial game exciting. You will be in the command room of a spaceship. The mission it is to destroy at least 1000 alien spaceships. The sound of your laser cannon is a true spatial sound (from the archive NASA), obviously adapted to the game”
Traced the original here: http://rahll.deviantart.com/art/Rawkets-209713749
So it is doubly-pilfered, probably.
Wow, that original artwork is bee-yoo-tee-ful. Which makes it doubly painful to see the chewed-up, half-digested, and vomited-up version that is this cover.
Before long there will be software that can match images using statistical averaging of color and proportion so blurring, cropping, and general craptizing won’t hide theft of original artwork.
Gosh, I hope so.
I found the original using TinEye. Which, IMHO, says we’re getting close to that goal.
BOO TWO a little late for Halloween
I see someone notified the artist. Well done, people.
