I agree. At thumbnail the author and title are hard to notice much less read. The artwork is better than the average LBC candidate, but at thumbnail will it bait enough clicks and sell the book? I do think author and title legible at thumbnail size would improve this cover.

I don’t think the artwork is terrible. Maybe with better typeface and some tweaks this can be salvaged.
