Looks like two moons to me.

And on the what-is-it, I venture it looks like a pump-up insecticide sprayer for the crops in the background(and the thing he is holding in the other hand may be the nozzle).

[Click the link to the Smashwords entry] Nope, it is a robot dog. [headslap] How did I miss that?

It is so a dog.
I got that part.

Is he holding a broom handle though?

I don’t know.

“Dog” still looks like my son’s pump up insecticide sprayer to me, even tho’ the book blurb says it’s a robot dog.

I never said that it was a particularly well done robot dog.

😀

But I have seen many badly drawn robot dogs in my time.
… Not sure why.

Maybe it’s a robot dog AND an insecticide sprayer. After all, what’s the point of having a robot dog on a farm if it can’t help you out with some mechanical chores like spraying insecticide?

Suspenders and a belt? Blech. Fashion fail. I thought the tiny-headed fellow looked Amish or something, per the blurb he’s a Covenanter(?). Conservative religious lad on distant colony with robotic dog. Sorry, sounds like a bit of a yawner. I mean, if he doesn’t have any vices how much trouble can he get into?
