The teeth and a star in the middle? Don’t Cs have that in your home jurisdiction? (I love meeting people of other planets on the internet.) On Gremflyx, all our Cs have teeth and sparkles.
Since Dec 2007 I have been owned by a house cat who has never run like that, and I have frequently had to scare off an alley cat who lurks under the bird feeder, and it has never run like that either.
Is it a coincidence that I recorded “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” this afternoon? Now I’ll have to worry about pod cats invading the neighborhood, leaping like ghasts from a Lovecraft story.
I’m just saying, it’s not unheard of posture for the little psychos. 😉 when mine was younger and he tore around the house, he ran in that position many times.
Maybe my TurboCat had slowed down over the years, but he walks and stalks one foot before the other. But then there is that photo that matchs the cover.

I’m sorry, but ‘Chermpf’ just sounds like the sound that cat’s gonna make when it runs straight into a wall.
Hrmpf.
The stylized watercolor does have some potential. The title and font, not so much.
If it was re-painted with fewer grass & leaf outlines… O_o
What’s with the business in the capital C?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat run like that.
I have, actually, when they’re tearing up your house. It’s a little stylized, but the pose was familiar.
I’m not saying the art is great or anything, just that I recognize the pose. 😉

My guess is this image was used as reference.

Bwahahahaaaa!
I genuinely lost it. XD
To be fair, I’ve seen a lot worse.
