The Legend of Bob Wire

There are several books in this series, and they all have the same problem: the guy on the lightning bolt.

I feel like if they ditched the guy on the lightning bolt– or had the concept re-drawn in a style more fitting with the rest of the cover– it’d be just fine.

You know, I don’t mind this one so much. I don’t even think that they need to ditch the lightnin’-ridin’ cowboy; they need to find someone to give it life. To actually draw it. With that, I think it might be pretty cool. And, of course, really: cover shape. Even if the physical books are square, let’s pay homage to the traditional values here. Eh?

Are all his books square?

(And I agree with Brandi. So close, yet so wrong.)

Hey, look on the bright side, at least it’s not bleeding cowboy!

I find joy in lightning cowboy’s finger gun. Based on the descriptions (and titles), I think they’re meant to be humorous, at least in part. Maybe the guy riding the lightning is meant to be laughed at? Then again, Maybe Sam Skinner is just a big Metallica fan.

Howdy ya’ll! I think Shea came closer than anybody. Just goes to show, not everybody is alike. I am a different kinda cowboy. Nobody else is like me. That is why I’m a LEGEND! Read “The Adventure of Bob Wire and the King of the Double T Ranch” if you want to know the real story about my hand and why my finger is pointed. Thanks for noticing my book and all your comments. YEE HAW!!!!
