Forget the lousy cover: I think a lawsuit is the thing he needs to worry about the most.

Where’s the Borg when you need them?

Wait, this leads me to believe the uniforms in TNG are throw-back uniforms in commemoration of the glorious French invasion of Joshua Tree National Park in the early twenty-first century.

I am not an avid or rabid Star Trek fan but…. my first impulse is to assemble an away team of redshirts in the transporter room, phasers set to puree.

Captain’s Log:
We camped in Joshua Tree, where I met Smokey Bear and challenged him to a wrestling match. I won the bear’s hat. I also traded my com-link for a sweet Apple iWatch.

This time travel stuff is fun, even if I didn’t get to talk to extinct whales and wear hippy attire like Spock did.

great, great, great, great, great grandson…

So, 7 generations hence? TNG is set in 2364. That means if this guy’s son was just born just now, he and each of the successors who lead down to JLP would have to be 50 when their respective offspring are born. Just sayin’

I would like to congratulate everybody here for not making a poop joke the second they saw the phrase “Captain’s Log”.

Well, before that one, anyway.

Time to break out the False Flagging tag: the book is about being a park ranger in California.

@ Bruce

You are aware there are things the borg simply will not assimilate right?

“And yes, Jean-Luc is my great, great, great, great, great grandson…”

No sir, he is not.
