Is that deliberately Terry. O. Parts? As in, Parts o’Terry? (OMG, it’s Terry Pratchett, trying on a new…nah.)
I also thought that said “S.F. 2049,” as in something like “San Francisco, 2049,” but nyet, that ain’t it. I am hesitant to criticize any non-English speaker brave enough to publish in a second language, however.
The Waffles Positive Reinforcement Initiative comment: in one or two ways, the color choices are really, really pretty. There.
This cover brought up some traumatic memories of my 4th grade art class with the sinister & mustachioed Sister Frances Marie. I was sent into a 10-year long depression.
I then built a time machine, and came back in time to write you this note – but aaaahhhh!! too late!!

I really hope this was intended to be a bad cover as a sort of ironic critique of 70s Peter Frampton/Olivia Newton-John album covers or something….

I never made it to Sci Fi 2049. I changed my major after taking 2048.

As for the author, I get the impression that he’s not a native English speaker. Heck, I’m not even sure he’s from earth.

A couple of those parts are really pretty.
This reminds me of one of those ‘etching scratch kits’ where whatever you etch away with the tool becomes rainbow, or gold, or this book cover.
Nathan – You need a trigger warning!
