For a minute there I thought the tower had sprouted little stumpy penguin wings. Then I realized: the eyes have brought along a mustache to the party! Ned Flanders, is that you?

Such is the danger of leaning too close to your chess game. You can get your nose stuck in the Rook castle piece. He doesn’t look happy about it.
That is a classic free standing watchtower. It sure isn’t a castle. If it were surrounded by castle walls, it would pass as the keep or last redoubt of a castle.
You open that lone watchtower door and step into an elaborate Castle Gormenghast in M.C. Escherland–that’s a high fantasy concept (or at least trippy).
I have only seen one less-imposing “castle” than this. Behold:

The Castle Within A Novel
Parentheses be damned; THAT’S what it says.
That’s more of a tower than a castle.

You guys have no imagination. The castle is UNDERGROUND!
Either that fellow is slightly walleyed or that’s a duped and flipped face.
Probably the nose looked horrible when duped and flipped, hence the tower covering it up.
I suppose the castle is hidden within that tower.
Honestly, a secret castle hidden in a watchtower is sort of amazing.
