This is really disappointing–
The synopsis actually sounds quite charming for a children’s story, and the “Look Inside” on Amazon shows that there are other illustrations in the story– one of which is a boy who is illustrated MUCH better than this girl. The writing isn’t dreadful either, and that makes the disappointment that much worse.
Wasted potential should be a cardinal sin.
