Someone needs to write the song, “Julianna With The Weird Hair” in a 70s-style pop song.
I am not that person.

The cover makes the story look about as exciting as a government report on early 20th century lawns (which is what she seems to be staring at).
Taking two photos, mashing them together, and putting them in gray scale does NOT make it look like a vintage photo from 1906.
Having a smiling model, no matter how wild her hair, is at odds with the blurb that talks about fleeing an abusive father and mother’s death. [Shaking head at it all]

I Julianna’s name was Victorianna, this cover would be almost not as boring.
This wouldn’t be half as bad without the pasted on Julianna With The Weird Hair. Boring, but not bad.
I agree. Even without the odd model with the odd hair, the rest of the elements are simply bland.
