The story comes in around the same time book 9 ends. It goes from there, listing events as one immortal experiences them and her thoughts on such. It tells how she gets more promotions past where book 9 stops listing them. The story does not focus so much on the promotions as book 9 was. It is longer than book 9 but much shorter than book 8.
Is anyone enticed by this to seek out the rest of the series?
It’s probably a good thing that people who write books like these are spending their time writing and not literally anything else.
Book 7 is longer than book 5, but shorter than book 3, which is 3 nautical miles long. If book 6 is 3 inches wide, how tall is book 9?
Answer: racism!
I’ve actually run into quite a few blurbs/covers like this, where the clear message is, “If you’re already a fan of this series, here’s something that might be meaningful. If you’re not already a fan, why should I waste my time trying to market to you?”
I guess, if you think you have more than enough readers and are making quite enough money already, it might be a workable strategy.
If the author wrote the blurb, then, no, it’s not enticing me to read it. Graduate HS first, please.
