I’m guessing that the “magic” here must be the same stuff that’s in magic mushrooms.
The mystery is who buys enough of these that there’s more than one book.
It’s quite possible that nobody does, and the author just published more than one regardless. I mean, the worst thing that happens these days if your book doesn’t sell is… your book doesn’t sell.
Uh, wait. “A” Rown Gray mystery, book(S) 1-3? Is it me, or are we mixing our singular and plurals here? Dearest author, “a” means ONE. “Books 1-3” means THREE. It’s impossible to miss and once you see it, you can’t unsee it or un-know it. I’d suggest a quickish cover revamp.
