Being startled, Christina is standing behind him and while gently grabbing his arm, as if coaxing him to go somewhere with her, she invites him to come back inside the Pleasant Hill Penitentary. She leads him to a cell block with a metal door. What is behind this door introduces John to a terrifying expedition that will leave the readers of the book on the path of fear and evil.

This is a blurb that says, “Do I know how to write? Don’t be ridiculous! I can’t even use the copy/paste function competently.”
I used to have the exact same problem–everything I copied and pasted was missing the first character, until one time I noticed that if I double-clicked the first word, everything copied and pasted correctly. orked like a char! he problem was a bug in the text edito. ventually the programmers got around to fixing it and updated the progra. ow I always get the first characte.
