Romance between buildings? I see the rival across the street. What tension! Who will win her heart? He looks like quite the home-wrecker…

Um, doesn’t “sweet,” in the context of romance novels, mean “no sex”? While “steamy” means, well, the opposite? Does “sweet and slightly steamy” actually make any sense?
I think “slightly steamy” is supposed to be describing a fade-to-black sex scene, but for a(n alleged) writer, it’s a poor word choice. Like being “a little bit pregnant”

“Slightly steamy” just means damp and clammy.
A freshly poured cup of tea, with two sugars, I think.
Seems like a time-share scam to me!
