Also, because I had to know if the author really spelled her name “Kathey,” I followed the link. Reading the blurb was enough to make me sick—and not for the reason you might think by looking at the cover.

I suppose the one thing that can be said of it, is the image is so completely bizarre and grotesque as to be arresting, and I did actually go to it and click on the ‘read sample’ out of curiosity. Unfortunately it’s just a rambling, barely literate description of a zoo with no characters or hook.
