MISSING: Extraordinary Relation of Ordinary People

How’s that for a way to cap off the year?

The weird thing is that the blurb is actually coherent, especially by LBC standards. Apparently he hired an actual English speaker to write that, but couldn’t be bothered when it came to the cover.

Oh, and I love the fact that the pull quote describes him as a “talented marketer.” Er, I have my doubts on that, but even if it were true, it’s not what I would choose to highlight when trying to sell a book.

I’m still trying to figure out, Zsu, why on earth you torture yourself with reading the blurbage or descriptions. Is your priest making you do that as penance?

Same reason I keep looking at the covers here despite the horror they cause to my eyes: morbid curiosity about what the bottom of the barrel looks like.

I figured if the English on the cover was that bad, the blurb and sample would be some true train wrecks. And the sample was, but like I said, the blurb actually made sense.

I was looking at this and, apparently forgetting where I was, thinking if I should submit it to Lousy Book Covers. Two cups of coffee is clearly not enough for the new year.
