Never Too Late for Love: Everyone seems much happier now that the B-17 is airborne.
Well, again, “This is actually an improvement” if only because almost anything would be. Tanya Allan’s covers in particular were so bad before that they were hilarious; now they’re just kinda generically bad and therefore boring.
The cover for Whispers in the Mind strikes me as a downgrade due to the lack of genre signaling. The first cover sucked, but at least it let us know there were aliens involved. A generic picture of the aurora shining over a lake is unlikely to attract people looking for sci-fi.
