it makes me kind of sad that I think they were trying to indicate a child ball player growing up to be ball player in adulthood, but that kind of transition is almost impossible to show. Some other cover concept would have worked better, maybe just the child player with a nostalgia overlay or an “old photo” filter would have served, depending on the role nostalgia plays in the story
