I’m not sure I ever really ‘got” the Sailor Moon thing. Years ago–and I mean, YEARS–I used to work out, on an old Nordic Track XCountry Ski machine–yes, the old wooden kind!–each late afternoon and Sailor Moon was one of the cartoons that aired then. I watched a bunch of them, but…outside of the whole “Moon Princess” thing, not sure I ever really understood it. Not sure I get the Moon Princess thing, either or that dude that she was gonzo for. I guess, all in, I don’t really understand any of it. LOL.
It was basically Japanese-animated Buffy The Vampire Slayer for young teenagers with bickering 9th-grade Japanese schoolgirls replacing Buffy and her pals, jewelry-themed villains and youma (monsters) from the Dark Kingdom replacing the demons and vampires and other underworld creatures from Hellmouth, and Takeuchi Naoko replacing Joss Whedon as the author.
Sure made my soul feel hollow.
I don’t think generic anime styled illustration is inherently bad but that could use a lot of TLC.
Including an anime iron.
This is definitely not a published Sailor Jupiter fanfic: her eye color is different from Kino Makoto’s and she has nowhere near as much… talent!

Ah, thanks for that.
Is Shaw’s Arms and the Man in the public domain? This would make a great gag cover for some pervy small imprint.
