This is a dumpster fire. Or should be burnt in a dumpster fire.
That would be an insult to the dumpster fire.
It would take a writer of extraordinary ability–I mean, seriously, a Michener, to write a book that could compensate for this cover. It’s detailed and I’m sure that the artist worked hard on the individual images, but damn. The assembly is just bad.
Pity. “The Ancient Future” is a pretty cool title.
