New Covers For Old 2023: Day XXVIII

Thanks for joining me for this month of potential redemption!

As always, the biggest stunner to me when I compile these replaced covers is all of the covers that HAVEN’T changed. Somehow, those authors are committed to letting their work languish behind lousy covers from now until doomsday.

As always, the biggest stunner to me when I compile these replaced covers is all of the covers that HAVEN’T changed.

Especially given the fact that many of the changes are so minor as to barely count: i.e. adding a vanity medal or something like that. The ones that got worse are almost better than that: at least they realized something needed to change, even if they didn’t quite grasp what that something was.

Yep: not a lot of improvement this year; and even the ones that did improve were mostly still not ready for prime time.

I misread “The Eversors Arising” as “The Eyesore Arising”, and suddenly it makes more sense.
