Y’know, oddly enough and ironically, all things considered, it’s not a dreadful cover, but for THIS BOOK? The one that’s described thusly? Uh, NOPE.
Yeah, I kind of love the artwork. The text could use some work, but for another book, this could be perfect.
Yes, I agree. Nothing wrong with the artwork for LitFic or the like–it’s not compelling, like an action-adventure cover, but there’s not one damned thing wrong with it–other than, it’s godawful for this particular book. It’s a shame, the cover artist won’t get the props s/he should, for a nice piece of art, given that it’s…you know, cattywampus like this.
