Wouldn’t that be, “why was the possum unsuccessful in crossing the road,” rather? Hmmmm?????
Oh, it’s supposed to be an opossum! I honestly thought it was a pig.

I’m not sure, that kinda looks like a Perils of Pauline…pig, or opossum or anteater (?)–isn’t it tied up like the aforementioned Helpless Heroine?
