With a better typeface and eliminating the stick figure it could have been a decent simplistic cover.

With all due respect, I beg to differ. That blue curlycue looks nothing like a wave. Without the stick figure I would have been wondering ‘WTF is that meant to be?’

Yeah, I agree. The stick figure on the surfboard is all that informs the browser (person), “this is a wave.”
