It took me a moment to notice the body, looks like the dog doesn’t see it either.
If I were to sum the cover in one word it would be: Forgettable!
The most notable thing here (to me) is that the body seems to be hovering above the floor.
It’s apparently on a levitating autopsy table, with a toe tag. Figure THAT out. No wonder the dog looks puzzled.
(and that font. UGH. Lucida h/w or calligraphy. I don’t know what it is about it, but man, I loathe that font.)
The dog has that guilty “I just made a you-know-what over in the corner.” face.
