Collar Dread: She feared being collared like death itself. And she lusted to be collared. And somehow, everything she did led to being collared in the worst possible way. (Collar World Book 2)

Somehow, the fact that this is “Book 2” is the most horrifying detail.

That’s it. I’ve had it, Nathan. You’re polluting my brain to unacceptable levels. This is like…it’s like I died and woke up in hell.

You know I’m somehow getting the feeling that Pat has a bit of a thing for collars.

Given that this is the same author who did The Great Chase (the one with “ponygirls in chains on trampolines” on the cover) which has now advanced to the final ballot, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised this one’s looking like a contender for next year’s awards too.

In one of my books I had to research actual French names given to slave collars and manacles in the old Louisiana/Confederate South & it was hopeless; nothing in online reference but BD/SM crap for sale. Search that probably got me on all the FBI watch lists. So that went to print without substantial fact-checking for all my tens of readers.
