Emily looks like she’s about to eat the dog, and the dog’s neck is twisted like it’s trying to reenact The Exorcist. My only guess here is that Emily and Roofer went into the forest, got possessed by a couple of rival demons, and were forced to engage in a battle to the death.
My thought after viewing that sandwich book about a nightmare fuel tag have only been confirmed.
