The only way all these editions of Edgar Rice Burroughs Gods of Mars Illustrated could have 718 ratings is if they inherited the ratings of other more legitimate editions.
No way 718 people have rated each of these clones identically.
Yes, which absolutely happens. If you go look at P&P (Pride and Prejudice, you heathens), you’ll see that all 592 editions on Amazon all share the same reviews, which sucks for those who put out nice versions and is an unearned and unwarranted bonus for those who slapped up whatever PG or PD version they could find sans any effort at all. Or worse, did their own scanning w/o cleanup.
I am sensing a theme.
Co-worker’s comment was this looked like Care Bears of Mars.
