Anyone else ever see the movie The Borrower (1991)? No? Just me?
Gotta admit, that’s a pretty clever cut-and-paste job; the designer might’ve gotten away with it too, if not for failing to anti-alias the hair properly. (Hair, of course, is pretty much always the most difficult part of a person from a stock photo to blend with some other picture’s background.)
Do you think the head is pasted onto that body, RK?
Yep. Look at that high definition face… then at that not-so-high definition body.
I really equivocated on that. Was it, wasn’t it–perhaps the illustrator just did it that way. But there’s just something bloody off about the neck’s proportions and the head’s proportions, to my eye. It’s that, or the model has BigHead.
And the fact that the light-and-shadow patterns are completely dissimilar.
God, yes, that’s it. I knew that something was driving me nuts, besides the BigHead and it was that. Thanks–now I can try to forget about it. 😉
