Supposedly an interactive world, where you could do all kinds of things, meet with real people, etc. I visited a few times, but couldn’t see the point. Second Life – Wikipedia
Well, sure but most of us nowadays (and even pre-COVID) do that every freaking day, anyway! Most of my Crew is either in Canada, Europe (Eastern) or parts further East. Hell!
Oh it’s this super sex-driven “life simulator” that is played like a game. People get in some intense relationships, start drama, fulfill dreams that they have no drive to fulfill in real life, and other sad things. It’s a mess but there IS a good documentary about the mess of it called “Life 2.0” on YouTube that I suggest you watch from a sociological perspective.
Is “Mist” the name of the pasted photobombing Maine Coon Kitten there?
Is this one of those “hidden object” games?
Ooooh, good one! Wish I’d thought of that one.
Thanks! 🙂
Is that a Second Life avatar being used as a model? Cringe that I would recognize it, sure, but still it’s jarring.
I take it that Second Life is an RPG or something like that? An online game or community? Like that place in Ready Player One?
if it is, ooops. Can we say copyright and TM violations?

So…a virtual place to go do “real” things, instead of doing real things in the real world? Sheesh.
Well, you could meet with people from the other side of the world. But still, a good chat does almost as much.

LOL, thanks for that, @NinaJ! I will have to check it out. I have enough DRAMAH, thanks; I’ll stick to the messes I make in real life. 😀
The kitten is more or less the size of a fully-grown cat, yet still with a kitten’s proportions.
Seen: 1000 objects in 1000 different styles.
Not seen: Mist.
