This is pretty bizarre. The cover design is credited to https://www.mmgcreate.com , who actually does some very decent work. What in the world was she thinking?

Well, her book cover portfolio seems to be composed entirely of work for this specific author. So…what, family? Friend? Significant Other? Something like that, I’d guesstimate.

The right hand of the twin on the left was positioned rather unfortunately. It makes him look like he’s doing something that he really shouldn’t be doing on the cover of a children’s book.

Couple that with the fact that “Happy Jack’s Carnival of Mysteries” sounds like it’s a euphemism for something, and I’m picturing an entirely different sort of book than I think the author intended.

Er, I guess it would actually be the twin on the right. The one closer to the Ferris wheel.

Yabbut, you had me going for a moment there!

(My question is, why do the Jinn both have Mittenhand?)

Because Ferris wheels are hard to draw?

Doesn’t ‘splain Mittenhand! 🙂 But yes, clearly, Ferris Wheels are hard to draw!

The Twin Jinn look bored out of their skulls. I’d be amazed at seeing a Ferris wheel doing… whatever it’s doing, either levitating or falling over. But I guess if you’re a Jinn it’s just all in a day’s work.
