It was a toss-up whether to feature this “suspense thriller” for its cover or its blurb:
Ed Shaw has a unique talent he wants to use for the good of people.
Instead he becomes a gambler, drunk, feeds money to the Russian Mafia and IRA, cheats his way through college and is an FBI informant.
He finally turns things around, almost.
Okay, so, ignoring all the writing, grammar, etc.–assuming I didn’t notice any of that–why would I now read the book? As the description has pretty much told me how it ends?????
Suspense thriller??
I figured it was urban fantasy, with self-help advice a close runner-up.
The blurb has a “be bisexual, eat hot chip, and lie” feel
