What the high holy hell is going on with that girl? Is she a “real” girl model, whose arms were replaced by pseudohuman posed arms? And worse, it looks like her torso, arms, neck and head are woefully foreshortened, right? As if the girl on the top half is about…60% of the height of the woman wearing the bottom half?

GEEZE Louise, this set of covers really is the gift that keeps on giving.

What is that blue-n-white thing behind her? Some kind of airborne Manta Ray trying to devour her?
I know it can’t be a cape blowing in the wind, since the wind isn’t stirring her hair and that thing is thicker than her torso.

Doubtless she’s a wizard with a spell that makes her cape blow in the wind without affecting her hair. Call it the “reverse Fabio charm.”

Either that or there’s someone just off screen with a very carefully aimed fan.

Maybe the dragon’s tongue has caught a too-fine-to-render thread on the end of the cape, and is pulling on it…?

That’s my take. Yon Dragon is getting ready to snag yon cape and eat yon oddly-sized young…lady? Man, that distortion of her size and proportions is really hard to unsee!

Oh it was really important that we know that dragon was from hell. The suspense would have been just too much.
