I mean, it strikes me that this dog-trainer woman should know better than to “forge a bond” with an autistic kid’s service dog, unless that’s a subtle way of telling us that the kid dies.
Honestly, the image of the woman feels ever-so-slightly distorted, as if her height was compressed, to fit in a certain spot on the cover. I think the cover designer has made her shorter in proportion to her body than she is and thus, also, a bit wider abeam than she likely is IRL.
