Punctuation is: your friend: when you compose sentences, using words….that others read.
I’ve made it a policy that any book for which the back cover blurb is nothing but praise for the book, I skip. It can be the best ever of its type, but if it’s a type of story I dislike that won’t matter at all. And how can I know if it’s the type of story I like or dislike when they tell me nothing?
This doesn’t quite fall literally in the “tells me nothing” category, but it still tells me so little I feel it qualifies.
