It would probably be better if it were a graphic novel; the art’s passable for a comic book, though everything would be significantly better either way if the designer would ditch that blurry photo background.
You must be getting spoiled by the sophistication of contemporary productions; these drawings could easily have come from comic books based on any of the Saturday morning cartoons of my youth.(1980s and 1990s).
Nope. I’m a child of ’70s and ’80s comics; this guy wouldn’t have gotten a job with any company in the days of Buscema and Byrne. Even the comics you references based on TV cartoons (“Batman Adventures,” etc.), while stylized, had draftsmanship of a high quality.
(I tried for years to get good enough to be a professional comic book artist. I know whereof I speak.)
Not to mention that they all share the same face. A comic book artist is allowed to have a style, but if you can’t tell the characters apart, they have failed.

Completely agree. Even the type, though a bit bland, isnt BAD. A different background and this could have been saved.
I entirely disagree. The art is amateurish and substandard for a comic book. This is the comic book geek side of me talking.
