Okay, so…it’s garish. But to be fair–I know, I know, I’m going to be banned here!–most of the precepts of good design for a book cover were followed. One central image; high contrast; a strong, eye-catching, albeit overused font. I would of course note the 3 fonts, one cover, which is no bueno, but generally, this cover probably does the job for its book. Yes, it makes our eyes bleed, but…I’ll bet it gets clicks.

Ironically the bleeding cowboys font honestly kind of works here. But you’re counting pennies when you’re losing millions.

I dunno. I wonder what the sales rank is on that thing? Wahl, partner, it’s #830,657 in Kindle Store and #1600 in Werewolf and Shifter Thrillers.
Apparently, that Bleeding Cowboys and the, er, enhanced crotch are working!
