Wow. Am I counting right? 4 different fonts? ::cringe:: And why did they feel the need to stretch that (pseudo) woman’s face out?

Yeesh. Hey Hitch! I was just swinging by to see if I could find some good examples of bad examples of bad kerning, for a presentation I’m preparing. Thought for sure I’d find some here! As it happens, no luck today. ☹️Who’da thunk!

Oh, gurl, there be plenny of crappy kerning here, but yeah, you may need to subject yourself to more of our rave faves here to find them. (Hint: look for Papyrus, which is notoriously bad anyway!). 😉 Good luck!

There’s a search bar at the top of the LBC page, and if you search for “kerning” in that, you can find some real, um, “beauties.”

Here’s a couple I thought were particularly “good” examples:

Nathan, you idiot, sure, the search box searches for things, but it never crossed my mind to search for tags. Sorry, but it didn’t. Now, maybe it’s JUST ME and I’m the ONLY one that wouldn’t think of that (cough, Tamian!). Amirite?

Presumably Zsuzsa thinks there is?

No. I typed the word “kerning” into the search bar and came back with all the posts where Nathan mentioned kerning.
