Any author who would start a sentence in the description of their book with “Him and his best friend, Vance…” is not encouraging me to look any further.

It’s kind of sad that the author took the trouble to include a very kind thank-you to his cover artist…after demolishing the cover with his ham-handing typography.
Captain Kindheart is the scourge of the seven sectors, eh? I guess he lives by that old adage, “kill them with kindness.” The fellow in front of him is weakening already.
FYI- had to reread “Kindheart” because it first looked like “Kindbearr”. Takes a special kind of font to be that mysterious.
