The thing that makes me gnash my teeth most is the cover that comes this close to working…and then blows it. This one was doing just great until it got to that last word in the title. Then….why?
I was coming here to say exactly the same thing. THAT close, dammit. The cover designer must have been pulling his/her hair out of his/her head, with that last word. What a shame.
Is that the Legion of Doom’s new HQ rising from the waves?
Looks good! …scrolls a bit lower… Did the cover designer suffer a stroke or a bout of vertigo halfway through?
Is this promising that every third word in the book will be scrambled?? “A great yrmstey that will avel you very upzzeld.”
The VD connected like that… is this a cautionary tale…?
