That’s an impressive level of failure on the aspect ratios! I wonder if someone there actually <I>does</I> think the moon is egg-shaped for them to be that consistent on screwing it up.

Actually a Chimera Egg makes more sense than a Chimera moon. Unless they are not of the egg-laying species of mythical creatures?

I think that in this instance, “Chimera” is the name of a planet and it’s that planet that has dark moons. FWIW. I don’t think that the author means some sort of mani-creature moon.

Out of curiosity, I imported this picture into Photoshop to see how far it had been stretched vertically. I had to reduce the height to about 47% before it looked like the ‘moon’ was plausibly spherical. At that shape, it’s quite a nice, striking image.
The type’s still dull as ditchwater, though, of course.

Wow, that’s actually a lovely piece like that. I’d consider hanging that my wall.

The original, though….that aspect ratio ruins it. And the font is such a poor choice.
