Weird shadows on the text
Nate, you HAVE to start having a worst of the year list, this one settles it!
I wonder if the fonts would still turn yellow if we had two kidneys.
I absolutely don’t understand WHY there’s this botched, rectangular paste of some sort of foods, apparently, slap dab in the middle of this image. Worse, made small enough where what it is, is not apparent; you have to zoom the cursed thing to see that those splotches of color there are apparently food of some kind.
So, you have this botched splotch in the middle of the image that isn’t identifiable, doesn’t accomplish anything, and ruins the entire image?
Well done, that. (not).
It reminds me of some Ferengi that got mixed up in the transporter beam, but when Scotty tried to them back before they fully materialized, the transporter malfunctioned.
Those Escheresque Venetian blinds are kind of cool, too.
Scotty never transported a Ferengi; those belong to two different eras. Your point is therefore invalid.
Oh, come on! How do you know that a Ferengi didn’t get transported back in time and ended up in Scotty’s beam!? You have no imagination, bro. It coulda happened!
STICK TO THE CANON!!!
Scotty was still alive in the Next Gen era, and he made it pretty clear at the end of “Relics” that he wasn’t planning to retire immediately. So it would be perfectly canon-compliant to assume that he would have ended up in engineering/transporter operation somewhere in the Federation, and that at some point in his duties he transported a Ferengi. No weird theories need be involved.
Buncha damned fan-ficcers…
Well. This thread has taken quite a turn for a post about a book on kidney detox.
Come for the bad covers, stay for the arguments about continuity porn!
Scotty was kind of surprised to see them, too.
