Nope; apparently, according to independent sources, her books have hit the USAT bestseller list twice. I have no idea what that really means, in the context of, say, a NYT-bestseller.
Ah, I guess I just assumed a label like that would come with a level of quality. I know that a bestseller list doesn’t equate to remarkable work, but the whole process fascinates me.
Note that it doesn’t say that THIS book was a USA Today bestseller; the bestselling book could have been put out by a publisher before she went indie, or if could have been early in the “kindle gold rush” when odd books got singled out for attention by Amazon’s algorithm.

LOL I’ve remarked on here before about that a red flag seeing “USA Today Bestselling Author” has become for me . . .
Can someone explain this USA Today Bestselling Author label so commonly toted around mediocre books? Is it that easy to get…what am I missing here?
