Actually, I think that applies more to the self-publishing industry where it seems awards come by the dozen. I, for one, would not mind having a Caldecott Award medallion on the cover of a my book or a Booker Award or an Edgar or a National Book Award or a Newbery… I know that my Hugo has never been a hinderance.
