LOL, Myk–I loved the first season or two, even with the whacky, completely wrong factual stuff (like Walt chasing a suspect, without a jacket or gloves, in the dead of a Wyoming Witner and then, falling into a stream, being soaked and still being able to fight? Yeaaaaah, no.).
It got too soapy after that (and one of the episodes, where Walt and Vic say that they’ll drive home from AZ to WYO, in the “morning” and see the caller at Lunch? Whoooo, doggie, folks–I make that drive all the time at 80MPH and up and guess what? It’s 15 hours on a GREAT day. Not 3! Only some Hollywood wanker whose idea of “far” is how far Redondo is from Beverly Boulevard could have screwed THAT up!).I also thought that they turned Henry into a loon. Do you read the books?
I hate to do it to you, but with Longmire, you kinda need to read them in order. Yes, they are standalones, but there is an overarching storyline, over time. Thus, The Cold Dish is the first one. It’s a very beloved series. If you’re shopping at Amazon for the Kindle version: https://www.amazon.com/Cold-Dish-Longmire-Mystery-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B0023SDPS6/ (on sale for only $2.99!)
Dear author: The Gros Ventre–where I have a home, BTW–is IN WYOMING! NOT MONTANA, YOU PRAT!
Oh, man I loved the show Longmire!

I hadn’t, but I’m looking for some quarantine reading. Can you recommend a good intro title?
