It’s a good thing that the author is wildly famous and that her name is the big draw here, as it’s so much larger and more important than the title…which, while we’re at it, is unreadable.
Apparently we have more people out there than originally thought who can’t adhere to “don’t put black text on a black background”. We saw the same problem with that sci fi novel about space tarantulas or something.
How much you wanna bet, Myk, that she was in love with the idea of the grunged font, and if she’d done it in white, the grunge effect would have been lost? So she decided to do black text–on that black background.

I can’t help but see the dude on the cover looking down the front of his cropped-out pants.
