Y’know, I really do wish that I knew more about this book. With the title and the image, there’s a bit of a creepy vibe about it that I’m not entirely sure is intentional at all. I can’t tell if that’s a child, or a tiny female adult(ish) person, or…? IDK.
Well it’s me to the rescue — veteran who comes back struggling with ptsd with the help of his ex wife, who he still had a good relationship with (I’m GUESSING that’s her). Vet then meets a free spirited artsy type, but when he gets in some (undisclosed) accident, the two of them have to talk out major decisons about his medical future while struggling not to kill each other.
Uh…well, hell, forget the shadows. I suspect this one is “perspective is hard” because that girl is TEENY. It looked like a tween and that was creepy and… man.

The description doesn’t mention any kids, so I’m guessing tiny adult, but like you, I initially thought “girl.”
I’m not really sure which is worse. I mean, that’s AWFULLY tiny for an adult, unless he’s 7′ tall. She’s barely up to the bottom of his ribcage.

Honestly makes me glad I’m single.

Thanks, Myk!
