Looking at this cover at typical thumbnail sizes, author and title are definitely unreadable. There should be enough contrast at all sizes to be able to read the title and author, especially if this appeared on another book’s page in a thumbnail line up of People Who Looked At/Bought This Title Also Looked At/Bought These.
The sample available on Amazon was damn good! Such a shame!

I agree – this is really good, save for the unreadability. It’s a good object lesson – how could this make it to the finish line? Naaman made great points I see!
