Looking this over at Amazon and Look Inside! the title is presented inconsistently.

The cover has [A Mystery] in a box separate from Ghost Girl like it is a genre label and not part of the title at all.
Perhaps this was an exercise to see how many alternatives there are to the usual Title: Subtitle convention.
